Bringing Colour to Creativity at Noosa Regional Gallery

At Noosa Regional Gallery, creativity is more than something you see on the walls, it’s something the whole community experiences together. Through inclusive programs like Imaginate, the gallery invites children and families to explore self-expression, connection and storytelling through art.

When planning their recent exhibition, Imaginate: Fields of Feelings, the team wanted to create a space that truly reflected the vibrancy and imagination of the young artists involved. That’s where Haymes Paint made a meaningful difference. 

With the support of a donation of high-quality paint, the gallery was able to transform its exhibition environment. Walls came to life with colour, adding warmth, depth and energy that elevated the entire experience. The thoughtfully painted space became more than just a backdrop, it became an immersive setting that helped bring each child’s artwork and the exhibition’s theme to life.

For Brooke Bowtell, Education Public Programs Officer at the gallery, the impact was clear. The refreshed environment created a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for visitors, while giving young participants a space that honoured their creativity and expression. 

“Haymes Paint’s support played a key role in shaping the exhibition,” Brooke shared. “The vibrant walls helped create an immersive and inviting space, enhancing how the artworks were presented and experienced.”

The result was a gallery experience filled with colour, emotion and connection. A place where children’s ideas could shine and visitors could fully engage with the stories being told.
