What is Colour Planet?

Colour Planet is Haymes Paint’s proprietary colour system, designed specifically for Australian light. ​

Developed in Australia, Colour Planet responds to the unique qualities of our environment where light is brighter, clearer and more contrast-driven than in many other parts of the world. In these conditions, colours appear stronger infull sun, cooler in shade, and even small differences between tones can feel amplified. ​

Built on colour science and refined through Haymes Paint’s expertise, Colour Planet is purpose-designed for these conditions. The system is carefully structured so deeper colours retain their richness, while lighter colours remain calm and balanced in Australian light. Colours progress in clear, logical steps, making them easier to see, compare and choose with confidence. ​
