When Jasbe Petroleum discovered the plaster polish and seal had been overlooked at their new BP Clayton location, they needed a solution, and fast. On the corner of Clayton and Bourke Roads, the petrol and convenience site is home to a Carls Jnr restaurant and a Daniel’s Donuts outlet.  

In conjunction with specialist applicator Western Painting, and architect, VODA Building Services, the Haymes Paint team got to work to apply the final protective coats to finish the site.  

Rendertex Masonry Sealer 

The process began with Haymes Paint Rendertex Masonry Sealer, a clear solvent-based sealer suitable for concrete surfaces. Rendertex Masonry Sealer laid the foundation for the project and was applied to BP Clayton’s external wall to ensure Artisan Surface Bloom would adhere well to the substrate 

Applied with either brush, roller, or spray, Rendertex Masonry Sealer is a deep penetrating sealer that binds concrete surfaces. Rendertex Masonry Sealer primed the space perfectly, preparing it for the next coat of paint. 

Artisan Surface Bloom  

Haymes’s Artisan collection was specially chosen for this project for its ability to add a unique feature to any space, inside or outside. Featuring three core ranges in a variety of finishes and shades, Haymes Artisan adds unique and contemporary textures and colours to any project.  

This project was no exception, with the selection of Haymes Paint Artisan Surface Bloom. By utilising this bespoke texture, handcrafted finish, and premium quality, this product adds a sense of dimension and beauty. Applied using a cut-and-polish technique, Artisan Surface Bloom was dry in 60 minutes, It was left to fully cure overnight and sanded back the next morning.

Together, Rendertex Masonry Sealer, Artisan Surface Bloom, and Ultimate Anti-Graffiti united to complete a beautiful wall in a time of need.
