The Life Interiors 2020 collection is here. Think refined modern Australian living with an earthy palette, curved lines, considered detailing and an androgynous sense of style. Their rationale behind the collection is to bring together a selection of statement pieces that work together for an aesthetic that is eclectic, comfortable, and timeless.
They enlisted Haymes Paint to come up with a colour palette to match. Our expert colour team worked alongside the team at Life Interiors to pull together the shades that are set to be big for the upcoming seasons.
Life Interiors had this to say “Haymes work hard to establish trending colours, and forecast for future seasons and their insight helps us to create a look that will be current and classic all at the same time”.
The palette was curated to compliment the collections newest pieces and show you how you can bring colour into your home.
There is a pop of blue with Haymes ‘Smokeytone’, a moody coffee hue with Haymes colour ‘Cappucino’ and proof that neutral doesn’t have to mean boring with ‘Blushing Beige’. Wendy Rennie our Colour and Concept Manager says the team “took inspiration from the Australian natural landscape and we wanted to encapsulate the desert centre and cool blue water that is so nostalgically Aussie”.
Our store network is currently offering contactless at home delivery and contactless pick up. See participating stockists: https://www.haymespaint.com.au/contactless-shopping
The collection is timeless, understated, and inspired by a Scandinavian design ethic, encouraging you to buy once and buy well.
The collection combines solid oak timbers, high-quality upholstery fabrics in muted and considered hues, solid slabs of marble, textural terrazzo, metal, and black accents.
Styling tip from Life Interiors: don’t be afraid to mix and match, we love to layer texture, colour and pattern. You will always find an artwork on the wall and we love creating dimension by adding in a mirror.
Our Haymes colours create a backdrop for these pared-back pieces, forging rooms that are rich in style, originality, and warmth.
Styling tip from Life Interiors: What’s new for Autumn 2020 is muted earthy tones, natural materials, curved lines and layered textures. Try adding these elements to your spaces to spruce them up.
