Haymes Paint ANZ Willem Corporate Office

Renowned interior design firm Foolscap Studio has utilised Haymes Paint throughout their recent refurbishment of leading Australian bank ANZ Dockland’s HQThe project transformed their executive quarters into a contemporary multi-use, Open House office space. Custom Haymes Paint shades and finishes were expertly utilised throughout the interior design to provide a rich, textured colour palette.

Based in Australia, Foolscap Studio is an award-winning interior architecture and design practice focused on creating space that meaningfully contributes to the cultural fabric of a cityA culture of hospitality and connectivity lives at the heart of this project, which reimagined the ANZ office spaces to offer visitors a warm welcome, whilst catering to numerous needs at executive, staff, and client levels.

To help bring their vision to life, Foolscap Studio engaged the expertise of the Haymes Paint team to create custom paint colours. These shades were specifically developed to complement the interior palette of warm blackbutt timber, richly coloured carpets in earthy tones, brass accents, and natural stone, used throughout the project. A selection of Haymes Paint Artisan Collection finishes were usedincluding Matte Polish, Sand and Rendercoat, to impart bespoke textured surfaces throughout the interior design.

The centrepiece of the project is the catered meeting room, which is built around a striking 20-seat table designed by Hugh McCarthy. Modelling the meeting room off the ‘Open House’ spirit that inspired the design, Foolscap transformed the space into a welcoming, light-filled space. Haymes Paints understated pearlescent Matt Polish paint was applied to the ceiling in a trowelled effect to create a low lustre overlapping pattern. A bespoke shade of the Artisan Collection Rendercoat was rolled onto the walls, giving it a unique, handcrafted finish. Rendercoat was chosen for this project as it is an exceptionally durable product that can transform a space with its premium textured look and feel.

Transformed into a thriving hub of activity and interaction, ANZ Open House invites its community of staff and clientele to collectively use and enjoy their new facilities across Level 10 of their Docklands HQ. Haymes Paint were thrilled to collaborate with the team at Foolscap Studio to bring to life this inventive office space.
