Haymes is excited to release this month our latest colour forecast, Colour Conscience - Volume 11. This forecast includes three different colour palettes with contrasting hues and moods, but all with the same fundamental value, colour with a conscience.
These palettes celebrate making colour choices not only based on aesthetics, but also by considering underlying thoughts around how colour impacts our mood and wellbeing.
Wendy Rennie, Haymes Colour and Concept Manager, says that these themes "embody the ultimate goal of being mindful of the choices we make and how they contribute to the way we live. Surrounding yourself with a feel-good vibe can have an uplifting effect and help us to live in a positive and responsible way."
Colour used is Haymes Ultimate Flooring in Chateau
Pastels are the new neutrals in the Cohabitate palette. Light, whimsical and inviting, these sorbet shades are all about creating spaces that encourage conversation and connection. With a shift in home and workplace spaces moving to open plan setups, Cohabitate showcases the art of micro-zoning, using colour to divide space without putting up physical walls.
Colours used are Haymes Light Admiralty Grey, Haymes Ultimate Flooring in Chateau and Haymes Simply Woodcare Aqualac Satin
Monochrome hues, deep browns, mid-toned neutrals and wood finishes come together to achieve a kitchen space that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional. The concept behind the Contribute palette showcases how smart design can be paired with simple everyday behavioural changes to create a sustainable way of living.
Colours used are Haymes Memory and Haymes Artisan Surface Bloom in Basalt Rock
Slow your senses and bring in the calm with the cocooning affect of the Comfort palette. Using a combination of deep, rich hues, light is absorbed to achieve a feeling of calmness, while also managing to inject warmth and softness into a room. The Comfort palette embraces wellness as the guiding force for interior choices.
