By LENZO

Following our recent Swan Princess Editorial, shot by the talented Bianca Virtue at L1 Studios, LENZO’s DIY crate creation was the feature for the days dessert table and picnic setting. This simple and on trend DIY is something you can easily whip up in an afternoon.

We hope you enjoy re creating this project for your next kids party and if you're feeling stuck on where to begin with your party planning, check out our article for everything you need to know on planning a kids birthday right here..

METHOD

STEP ONE: Simply choose 3 colours from a specialist team member at Haymes Paint. Our picks for this DIY project are coral serenade, tea rose pink, and white on white.

STEP TWO: Using sandpaper, tackle any rough edges of each crate to ensure a smooth surface for painting.

STEP THREE: Paint your first crate in your darkest Haymes Paint shade, for this LENZO used coral serenade! Now you wait for it to dry.

STEP FOUR: Paint your second crate in your second shade, for this LENZO used tea rose pink.

STEP FIVE: Paint your third crate in a crisp white and wait for your final crate to dry.

STEP SIX: Stack your crates from lightest to darkest and then have some serious #FUN with styling your creation.
